Offer description

If you are a student looking for practical experience in chromatography techniques in organic chemistry within a professional and collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply for this year’s internship program. The program is dedicated to the Purification Department, with intern opportunities available in Kraków

At Selvita, internship opportunities provide a chance to develop your skills through participation in real research projects, to learn directly from experienced scientists, and to contribute to laboratory work in the field of drug discovery.

As an intern, you will support the purification of samples provided by the chemistry department. You will learn how to operate preparative HPLC in reverse-phase mode and become familiar with mass-directed preparative HPLC and SFC techniques. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and analyzing chromatograms to identify and collect purified fractions of target molecules. Additionally, you will maintain accurate laboratory records, documenting experimental conditions, results, and observations. You will also assist in troubleshooting and optimizing purification methods to improve both yield and purity of small molecules.
