If you are a student interested in microbiology and looking to gain experience in a professional and well-equipped laboratory environment, we invite you to apply for this year’s internship program in our Microbiology Department, with intern opportunities available in Złotniki

At Selvita, internship opportunities provide a chance to develop your skills through participation in real research projects, to learn directly from experienced scientists, and to contribute to laboratory work in the Microbiology Department.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to support our specialists in projects related to drug development, including the preparation of samples, reference strains, and media for microbiological analysis. You will assist in the use of advanced microbiological quality control testing techniques, take part in method development and validation, and contribute to the interpretation and documentation of results in line with internal procedures and GMP standards

*The position is dedicated to POZLAB, which is part of the Selvita Group.
What does the recruitment timeline look like IN 2026?

We accept applications until June 1st. Selected candidates will be invited to the recruitmen meeting with representatives from the Microbiology Department. 

After the recruitment process is completed, all applicants will receive feedback, and selected candidates will receive internship offers. 
 
The internship begins on July 1st. Good luck! 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for ambitious and passionate candidates eager to apply their knowledge in a practical setting. 

The required background of the candidates involves: 

  • Student status (preferably during the 4th year). 
  • Field of study focused on microbiological knowledge or biotechnology. 
  • Familiarity with any of the listed techniques – microbiological reference strains, preparing microbiological media, microbiological plating, preparation of microbiological cultures, understanding of microbiological growth and environmental monitoring. 
  • Availability for a 3-month internship (July 1st – September 30th, 2026), with a minimum of 35–40 hours per week.
