Program Description:

At Selvita Chemistry Academy, you have a unique opportunity to participate in practical laboratory masterclasses! We’ve prepared an intensive series of workshops where you’ll dive into the hands-on world of organic synthesis.
Under the guidance of experienced chemists, you’ll carry out classic reactions such as Friedel-Crafts and Knoevenagel, as well as modern organometallic transformations.
Want to try your hand at synthesizing heterocyclic compounds? The Pictet-Spengler reaction will be easy for you to understand!

Start date: November 4th, 2024

Program Duration: 8 weeks, with lab sessions

Laboratory Workshops: once a week, Monday to Friday, each lasting 2-3 hours. Workshops will start at either 17:00 or 18:00 (exact days to be announced soon).

Application Deadline: Please submit your application by October 20th, 2024.

The Program Includes:

Electrophilic and nucleophilic substitution reactions in aromatic systems.
Classic reactions such as Friedel-Crafts, Knoevenagel, and Pictet-Spengler.
Organometallic chemistry: Application of organometallic compounds in organic synthesis.
Addition and elimination reactions.
