As a Biologist/Biotechnologist, You’ll play a vital role in the Biological Assays team using cell-based in vitro models or cell line culture and products in the GMP and GLP environment for biotech and pharma companies from Europe, the USA, and the rest of the world. You’ll be working in a friendly and collaborative environment created by open-minded people, always ready for new challenges that new projects can bring, with an everyday opportunity to exchange knowledge with experienced members of the team. Key Responsibilities
  • Support in conducting analyses using cell-based in vitro models (potency assays, metabolic assays).
  • Cell line culture (eukaryotic primary cells, immortalized cell lines (cancer and normal cells)).
  • Support in conducting of bioanalytical assays (e.g ELISA, SPR-based methods).
  • Support in analyzing and reporting data.
  • Preparation of the necessary documentation based on the quality system requirements.
  • Compliance with the rules of work in the GMP/GLP quality systems.
Your Background
  • Completed university studies in the field of Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or other related disciplines (MSc or Ph.D.).
  • Knowledge in carrying out standard tests, e.g. standard molecular biology techniques like ELISA, Western Blot, and qPCR, as well as cytotoxicity, proliferation, apoptotic and cellular reporter system assays.
  • Experience in cell culture and primary cells in vitro.
  • Ability to work in a team and a very good organization of work.
  • Ability to work under quality system requirements (GMP/GLP).
  • Good spoken and written English.
